Problem Description

When I move schematic symbols, sometimes their device tag changes.  How to stop this from happening?

Steps to Resolve

1. Open a page in the project or select the project in Project Manager.

2. Select Options > Project Options > Display Formats.

3. Clear the Adjust device ID when symbol(s) is moved" check box.

4. Click OK.
