Error or Warning Message
Following error appears at Startup in Setup Configuration
Configuration not saved:A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Shared Memory Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection
The software is unable to open a SQL connection due SQL server instance in a stopped state..
How to Resolve
Open the SQL Server Configuration Manager and GO to SQL Server Services. Change the SQL Server instance from Stopped State to Running state by right clicking on the instance and clicking on start. Restart the Software.
