    Error or Warning Message

    When Project Manager is opened, a big red X appears over the folder tree pane, and an error message is displayed.

    Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application.  If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.

    Index was outside the bounds of the array

    or

    Project Manager
    Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application.  If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue.

    Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

    Pages in the currently selected project can be accessed, but no other projects can be selected.

    How to Resolve

    Option 1

    1. Click the Reset button on Project Manager.

    Option 2

    If the Reset button does not help or is not available, do the following.

    1. Close Promis.e or Bentley Substation.

    2. Delete or rename the following folder
      Application Data (per-user configuration) - Promis.e
      Application Data (per-user configuration) - Substation
