    Pasted elements rotated or scaled

    Product(s): Promis.e, Bentley Substation
    Version(s): through 08.11.13.140
    Environment: N\A
    Area: PowerPlatform Support
    Subarea: N/A

    Problem Description

When elements such as symbols and wires are copied to the clipboard and then pasted onto a particular page, they are rotated or scaled differently than the originals.

    Steps to Resolve

    1. After pressing CTRL+V or selecting Edit > Paste, look for a Paste from Clipboard settings box. It will appear in place of the Element Selection box while the elements appear at the mouse pointer for placement.
    2. To preserve the rotation and scale of the source elements, set the Angle value to 0 degrees and X Scale and Y Scale values to 1.

Note: The Paste from Clipboard settings are design file specific.
