      Product(s): Bentley Substation, Promis.e
      Version(s): through 08.11.12.137
      Environment: N\A
      Area: Project Management
      Subarea: Project Manager

    Error or Warning Message

When Project Manager is opened the following error message is displayed. It may occur at startup if the software is configured to open Project Manager automatically.

    Internal Error
Error Message: The network path was not found. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070035)
    TargetSite: Void ThrowExceptionForHRInternal(Int32, IntPtr)
    DeclaringType: System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal

    Explanation

This seems to have resulted from bad or obsolete data in the user application data folder, possibly an old path in the MRU.xml (Most Recently Used) file. In one case the problem happened after upgrading Bentley Substation in a Citrix environment.

    How to Avoid

    1. Close the software.

    2. Delete or rename the user application data folder for the software.
