The following error message is displayed when inserting various or possibly all symbols. The symbol is inserted but not functional.
"Internal ErrorError Message: The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot find the input table or query 'Mode'. Make sure it exists and that its name is spelled correctly."
Mode,BlkInfo, DevInfo, FileInfo, MacroInfo, and TitleBlockInfo, are all tables in the Catalog.mdb file that each catalog should have. In addition, there are also BlkInfo and DevInfo tables in the project database. However, the problem is most likely related to catalogs and not the project database
Delete the per-user configuration folder.For promis.e V8i, this folder would be:C:\Documents and Settings\(your login name)\Application Data\Bentley\promis-e V8i(M)orC:\Users\(your login)\AppData\Roaming\Bentley\promis-e V8i(M).For promis.e 2007, this folder would be C:\Documents and Settings\(your login name)\Application Data\ECT\promis-e 2007.If that does not help, try Solution 2.
This solution may to be related to copying the Setup.xml file from one installation to another in order to transfer Setup settings.
If the errors still occur, try deleting the catalog paths and add them back one-by-one until the errors recur in order to isolate the problem catalog. In the Catalog Manager, try right clicking the name of the problem catalog and selecting Rebuild.
