    Index was outside the bounds of the array (Microsoft.SqlServer.smo) while trying to edit the database in SQL Server Management Studio.

    Explanation

    This issue occurs because of an error in SQL Server Management Studio 2008 R2

    How to Avoid

    To resolve this issue, apply Cumulative Update 5 for SQL Server 2008 R2 on the computer that has SSMS 2008 R2 installed.
