Background

The Construction Drawings Project Import Tool is used to add construction drawings (assembly drawings) associated with a specific part number to the current project.

To open the Construction Drawings Project Import Tool

CONNECT Edition

• With the Electrical Workflow active
  • Select the Section Cuts ribbon tab > Construction Drawings group > Copy Construction Drawing to Project
  • Function key shortcut: F2 > S > DQ
    • If the 2D Design ribbon tab is already the active tab: F3 > DQ
• Press F4 to place focus on the Search box, then type Copy Construction Drawing to Project

• From the Tasks area, select 3D Layout Design > Copy Construction Drawings To Project
