    How to do Rebuild Catalog

      Product(s): Promis.e CONNECT Edition
      Version(s):  10.00.XX.XX to 10.06.XX.XX
      Environment:  NA
      Area:  Component Management
      Subarea: Catalog Manager

    Background:

Rebuild Catalog causes the software to scan the selected catalog's folder to correct discrepancies between the catalog's database (catalog.mdb) and the contents of the catalog's folder.

This tool can be used to stop content (symbols, macros, families, and title blocks) from appearing as available for use in the software when the corresponding files do not exist due to some problem or external operation. It can be used to make content available for use after files are copied into the catalog's folder from another catalog's folder outside of the software.

    Steps to Accomplish

    1. Open Catalog Manager from under Component section of 2D Design Page / Panel Design Page.

    2. Select the Catalog to Rebuild in Catalog Manager and Right Click to Select Rebuild Catalog.

    3. Click the Refresh Button button after the Catalog is rebuilt.
