How to resolve Error - Insufficient arguments with Plot Page(s)

      Product(s): Promis.e, Bentley Substation
      Version(s): Connect
      Environment: N/A
      Area: Print_Publish Features
      Subarea: Printing_Plotting

    Error or Warning Message

When using the Plot Page tool, Print Organizer opens but the related drawings are not added.  In the Message Center area at the bottom of the screen, an "Insufficient arguments" message appears.  Opening Message Center and highlighting this message reveals that the details are "Print style name not specified."

    Explanation

Variable print definitions require a print style. The Plot Page(s) tool seems to use a fixed print definition.

    How to Avoid

    Disable variable print definition mode

    1. Select Setting > Configuration > Configuration variable

    2. Find and select the MS_PLT_ENABLE_VARIABLE_DEFINITION_MODE variable.

    3. Click the Edit button and set the value to 0 (zero).

    4. Click OK until out of workspace configuration.
