Backup Project - Promis.e CONNECT Edition

      Product(s): Promise CONNECT Edition
      Version(s): 10.00.XX.XX to 10.06.XX.XX
      Environment: NA
      Area: Backup & Restore Project
      Subarea: Project Management

    Background:

The Backup Project tool creates archives of projects. Each archive is a single file with a .PRJ extension that contains the project's folder and all of its contents along with related data from the SQL project database.

    Steps to Accomplish

    1. In Promis.e CONNECT Project Manager Right Click on the Project that you want to backup.

    2. Select the Save in location where the Project Backup needs to be saved by browsing to the location and select Ok to processes and save the Backup.

Note: If the checkbox for Create Project Catalog is selected, the Project Backup will include the Project Catalog for all the symbols, Macro and Title Blocks used in the Project.
