Family modifications not reflected in project - Promis.e CONNECT

      Product(s): Promis.e CONNECT
      Version(s):  10.00.XX.XX to 10.06.XX.XX
      Environment: NA
      Area:  Component Management
      Subarea:  Family Creation

    Problem Description:

The user many times faces the issue that the changes made to a family not appearing in the project?  and old or wrong definition of the family seems to persist. This happens usually occurs when the modification is done when not having the Project page open or if the changes were made while working on another project and the same needs to be updated with a current Project.

    Steps to Accomplish

    1. Open any page of the Project where the family needs to be updated.

    2. Select Replace >> Update Family under Catalogs.

    3. Select Get Family List, select the Family from the drop-down list.

    4. Select Compare Family button to view the differences between the family in the catalog and the family in the project.
