The user sometimes may come across issues that when they export some of the Promis.e Pages to DWG/ DXF file, it is observed that some of the symbols are not displayed or the Symbols display is Turned Off when level ECT_DGRM_RFPT_MARK is turned off in the DWG/DXF file. This issue may be happening due to the reason that the Symbol might have been created in Promis.e V8i. In V8i there were some issues with the Insertion Point that were used in the symbols, these issues were fixed in the Promis.e CONNECT. Due to this if an Insertion Point is present on symbol graphics the symbol graphics take the visibility ECT_DGRM_RFPT_MARK level instead of the actual symbol graphics level.This article can be referred on how to resolve this issue.
This issue can be resolved in Promis.e CONNECT by modifying the symbol to replace the existing Insertion Point with a new Insertion Point. And after the Insertion Point is repaced the symbols in the Projects can be replaced so that new corrected DWG/DXF files can be generated.1. Go to Manage >> Create Symbol and then in the Symbol Creation Wizard select the Modify Existing Symbol >> and select the symbol with which you are facing the issue and select Next. 2. Now go to Step 7: Specify Position by selecting Next.3. Select Pick Point for Insertion Point and then select Yes for the message "Do you want to change the existing insertion Point" and then place the Insertion Point again in an earlier position or according to requirement.
4. Select Next and then select Finish in Step 8: Save Symbol. 5. After the Insertion Point has been replaced the symbol can be replaced in Projects. The Symbol can be replaced following the steps in below Wiki Link.
