    Feature Attributes

    Feature Type

    The name of the feature or class.

     

    Name

    The display name of the attribute used by the User Interface.

    User visible.

    Attribute Domain

    The name of the domain to which this attribute belongs.

     

    External Name

    The field name of the attribute in the GIS, for example the XFM property name.

     

    Internal Name

    The field name of the attribute within the WM/DA database.

     

    Display Order

    Used by DA to determine the order in which the attributes are displayed.

     

    Allowed Access

    The valid values are:

    None – the attribute will not be displayed by the User Interface.

    Read Only – the attribute will not be editable from the User Interface.

    Read Write – the attribute is editable.

    Mandatory – the attribute must be populated.

     

    Design Only

    If yes, the attribute will only exist in the WM/DA database, and will not be stored or set on the GIS feature.

     

    Dataloader Errors

    Errors while processing the sheet will be logged here.

     

    Oracle Data Type

    Used to create sql scripts.

     

    Display Attribute

    If yes, includes the attribute on the feature’s placement and edit dialogs.

     

    Mulitimapped attribute

    Not used.

     

    DriveSymbology

    Used by the AddSymbologyCriteriaFromFeatureAttributes Macro to add rows to the MA-Symbology tab for each value in the domain list of the current attribute.

     

    MA domain override

    If specified, uses the named domain rather than the entry in AttributeDomain when creating the XFM schema.

     

    EDProcess?

    If 0, the row will not be exported to the WM/DA database.

     

    BEProcess?

    If 0, the row will not be exported to the XFM schema.

     

    SQLServer Data type

    Used to create sql scripts.

     

    Tab Name

    Label for the tab that this attribute will appear on in the placement and edit dialogs.

     

    Reserved Word Errors

    Used by the reserved word checker.

    Preference Type

    Valid values are none, client, dgnFile, and session. Default value is session.

     

    Editor Attr Value width

    Width of entry box on placement and edit dialogs.

     

    Editor Attr Tooltip

    Tooltip displayed for this attribute.

    User visible.

    Add blank list entry

    Used to control if attributes with an enumerated domain list will have a blank entry added to the beginning of the list of values. 1=true and anything else is considered false.

     

    External Link

    Valid values are:

    0 = no external link

    1 = file link

    2 = image link

    3 = video link

    4 = stream link

     

    Video Start location attribute

    Identifies the attribute that defines a start location in seconds for video links. Video links are attributes where the ExternalLink above is either a 3 or 4.

     

    Dataset

    The dataset this feature belongs to. Used for disambiguation

     

    itemspectype

    Type of control to be used in placement and edit dialogs.
