    Common Configuration Settings

    These are entries that are commonly used by the application to control behaviour. See Configuration Setting for the description of this sheet.

    This is the parent setting used for all settings other than those needed for Job Scheduler.

    VGISSettings

    ED

    This is the parent setting used for all settings needed to configure a VGIS.

    Microstation

    VGISSettings

    This is the parent setting used for all settings needed to configure a VGIS.

    Smallworld

    VGISSettings

    This is the parent setting used for all settings needed to configure a VGIS.

    [VGIS]-Radius

    Microstation or Smallworld

    The scan radius in map units when picking up existing features into DA.

    [VGIS]-Tolerance

    Microstation or Smallworld

    The distance in map units below which two features are treated as coincident.

    [VGIS]-ConversionFactor

    Microstation or Smallworld

    Multiplier used when map units do not equal display units (e.g., cm and feet).

    [VGIS]-BaseWorkspace

    Smallworld

    The parent alternative of all designs.

    [VGIS]-Datasets

    Smallworld

    The datasets to be opened.

    EDUserSettingsDirectory

    ED

    Overrides the user’s home directory as a location for persistence settings, e.g., folders, shortcuts, etc.

    SplitByDataset

    ED

    If non-zero, only features in the same dataset are split.

    RecalculateRetiredCUs

    ED

    If non-zero, CUs that have been retired are included when recalculating costs.

    UsesSplitSpan

    ED

    The name of a GIS method that will be called immediately prior to splitting a span feature.

    AllowDuplicateWLNames

    ED

    If non-zero, multiple Work Locations may share the same display name.

    AllowRenumberWLNames

    ED

    If non-zero, Work Locations may be renamed.

    RenumberDuplicateWLNames

    ED

    If non-zero, in the case of multiple Work Locations with the same display name, one will be renamed to the first available value.

    ImportFailureTypes

    ED

    This is the parent item for LDE failure types. Each child config setting has a long value, and the description is user visible. The valid types are:

    Create =0

    Update = 1

    Delete = 2

    Connect = 3

    Attach = 4

    Design Object = 5

    Split = 6

    GIS Attach = 7

    LogSplitToExternalTable

    ED

    If non-zero, all splits are logged in the table “ExternalSplit”.

    DisableSetDefaultValues

    ED

    If non-zero, features created from command manager will not have their default values populated from DA’s job default.

    WMUserSettingsDirectory

    ED

    Similar to EDUserSettingsDirectory, but for Workflow Manager.

    PathNamePrefix

    ED

    The user visible prefix for paths.

    WorkPointLocationNamePrefix

    ED

    The user visible prefix for point Work Locations.

    WorkSpanLocationNamePrefix

    ED

    The user visible prefix for span Work Locations.

    ArchiveCreate

    ED

    Name used when logging work request creation to the archive table.

    ArchiveUpdate

    ED

    Name used when logging work request updates to the archive table.

    DisableUnits

    ED

    If non-zero, Compatible Units are not displayed in the Workflow Manager user interface.

    DisableMaterials

    ED

    If non-zero, Material Items are not displayed in the Workflow Manager user interface.

    DisableCustomCosts

    ED

    If non-zero, Custom costs are not displayed in the Workflow Manager user interface.

    DisableJobDefaults

    ED

    If non-zero, Job Defaults are not displayed in the Workflow Manager user interface.

    DisplayConnection

    ED

    1 = Display database name in title bar.

    2 = Display database name in About dialog.

    3 = Display database name in title bar and About dialog.

    LevelsToIgnore

    ED

    Names of levels which can be ignored when picking up existing features in DA. The names of levels are separated by “;”.
