Background:

When Inserting Symbols or Macro the user might come across an Alert Message "Can not write current page" as seen in below screen shot. This issue is occurring because the current active level on the page is locked and this issue can be resolved by unlocking the level or setting the active level correctly. This Wiki Article will guide on resolving this issue. 

Steps to Accomplish

1. Open the Project Page where the issue is being faced. 

2. Click on Level Manager from Electrical >> 2D Design >> Level Manager under Primary. 

3. In the Level Manager search for the current active level. The Active Level is usually displayed in Cyan Color Text as seen in below screen shot. Also it is displayed in the Lower Left Hand corner of the dialog. 

4. To Unlock the level the "Lock" need to be displayed in dialog (if not visible) by Right Click on one of the Column Header and then select Lock.

5. Scroll to the Active Level and there will be a Lock icon for the level under the Lock Column. Click on the Lock to Unlock the level.
