The Validate Page tool compares the data on the drawing for the active page to the data in the project database and displays a message for the first discrepancy it finds. Not all possible discrepancies are currently validated. If a discrepancy is found run Update Page, the preferred tool, to see if that resolves the discrepancy.
Validate Page may give the option of deleting an error item. If Update Page does not resolve the error, it is usually best to delete the error item than to proceed with questionable data.
Some issues may need to be resolved by the user with actions such as deleting indicated error items.
From the Tasks or ribbon area, select Manage > *Maintenance > Validate Page
