Background

The Cable Manager can be used to edit cable text for all the cables in a project.

Beginning with SELECTseries 8, Cable Manager also has the following capabilities:

• Swap the ‘from-to’ targets of a conductor.
• Change the assigned cable family from the Cable Manager.
• Reorder the conductors in the Cable Manager by selecting rows and using the move up/down buttons.

To open the Cable Manager tool

* is used to denote a menu selection that is not necessary in some versions or platforms.

Bentley Substation CONNECT Edition

• Select Manage ribbon tab > Project Data group > Cable Manager
• Function key shortcut: F2 > M > PC
  • If the Manage ribbon tab is already the active tab: F3 > PC
