Background

The Cable Manager can be used to edit cable text for all the cables in a project.

Beginning with SELECTseries 8, Cable Manager also has the following capabilities:

Swap the ‘from-to’ targets of a conductor.
Change the assigned cable family from the Cable Manager.
Reorder the conductors in the Cable Manager by selecting rows and using the move up/down buttons.

To open the Cable Manager tool

* is used to denote a menu selection that is not necessary in some versions or platforms.

Bentley Substation CONNECT Edition

Select Manage ribbon tab > Project Data group > Cable Manager
Function key shortcut: F2 > M > PC
- If the Manage ribbon tab is already the active tab: F3 > PC

Select Review/Revise > *Revision Management > Cable Manager
Key-in: ECAD EXEC CABLEMANAGER
Key-in for promis.e for AutoCAD: ECAD_EXEC_CABLEMANAGER
