At startup, the software displays a message indicating "autoload2012x64.scr" or similar could not be found.
The message likely indicates that 32-bit promis•e for AutoCAD is installed when 64-bit promis•e for AutoCAD should be. The file cannot be found because it is only included with 64-bit installations.
One indication that 32-bit promis•e is installed on a 64-bit operating system is that the program folder for promis•e is in "C:\Program Files (x86)" instead of "C:\Program Files".
Uninstall the currently installed version of promis•e V8i and install the version of promis•e appropriate for the "bitness" of the operating system, in this case 64-bit. The 64-bit version of promis•e is installed from a different, separately downloaded file than the 32-bit version.
The product name to download would include "x64", such as " promis•e V8i (for AutoCAD) x64".
Downloaded 64-bit installation files for promis•e for AutoCAD typically begin with "pac64", such as "pac6408111118en.exe"
