The Update Symbol tool compares symbol definitions in the project to those in the catalogs and allows outdated project definitions to be updated.
From the Tasks or ribbon area, select Review/Revise > *Replace > Update Symbol
Select Components > Update Symbol
* is used to denote a menu selection that is not necessary for some versions or platforms.
