and/or hangs with “Please wait while software refresh catalog database for first time use” displayed.
Undetermined. The software, perhaps due to insufficient permissions of the user, may be unable to update catalog.mdb files or specific .ini files that indicate whether a refresh was completed.
Open the InstallerOption.ini file using a text editor such as Notepad. This file would be located in the "Config" subfolder of the Program Data folder.
Change the value for UpdateExistFolders from "1" to "0" (zero).
Save and close the file.
