Background

Project Manager is used to create, modify, rename, and delete and organize projects and project pages.  Project pages should only be opened and closed using Project Manager.

To open Project Manager

Bentley Substation CONNECT Edition through Update 1

Open a DGN file. After starting the software, this must be done from the screen that is initially displayed. After a DGN file is open, the Project Manager may be opened with the following methods:

• The Project Manager may automatically open.
• Select the Project Manager icon on the Quick Access Toolbar in the upper left corner of the main application window.
  
• Space bar shortcut: SPACE > O (Pages group) > G
• Select File ribbon tab > Project Manager
• Select 2D Design ribbon tab > Pages group > Project Manager
  • Function key shortcut: F2 > D > PG
    • If the 2D Design ribbon tab is already the active tab: F3 > PG
• Select 3D Design ribbon tab > Pages group > Project Manager
  • Function key shortcut: F2 > L > PG
    • If the 3D Design ribbon tab is already the active tab: F3 > PG

• Select Pneumatic/Hydraulic > *Projects > Project Manager
• Click the Project Manager link on the Welcome to dialog
  
• Key in ecad exec projectmanager (Standalone / Substation)
• ECAD_EXEC_PROJECTMANAGER command (AutoCAD through SELECTseries 6)

• Select Schematic Design > *Projects > Project Manager
• Select Panel Layout Design > *Projects > Project Manager
• Select Pneumatic/Hydraulic Design > *Projects > Project Manager
• Click the Project Manager link on the Welcome to dialog
  
• Key in ecad exec projectmanager (MicroStation/ PowerDraft / Substation)
• ECAD_EXEC_PROJECTMANAGER command (AutoCAD)
