Assigned part numbers can be displayed on symbol inserted onto project pages by enabling the Display Part Numbers toggle. This is meant as a design tool and not intended for displaying part numbers on printed or published output. The PartNumber attribute that displays the part number does not need to be added to symbol definitions, this is done automatically. The Part_Part_Number attribute is not affected by the Display Part Numbers setting.

To toggle Display Part Numbers

• From the Tasks area or ribbon, select Design > *Display Options > Display Part Numbers
• From the Tasks area or ribbon, select Pneumatic/Hydraulic > *Display Options > Display Part Numbers
• Select Options > User Options > View Preferences/Options, enable "Display Part Numbers"
