    View is rotated

      Product(s): Promis.e Standalone, Bentley Substation
      Version(s): through 08.11.13.140
      Environment: N/A
      Area: PowerPlatform Support
      Subarea: N/A

    Problem Description

The view of a project page appears rotated, upside down, or backwards.  The problem is typically described for schematic pages, which the user will want to return to "no rotation".

    Steps to Resolve

First, ensure that a different view was not simply selected.  Near the bottom of the screen there should be several small buttons numbered 1 through 8.  These are the view toggle buttons.  If another button besides 1 is selected, deselect it and select button 1.  If you do not see the view toggle buttons, from the main pull down menus select Tools > Views > View Groups > Open As Toolbox or Window > View Toolbox.

If that does not help, see the methods below.

    Method 1

    1. Press and hold the Rotate View button on the view's toolbar.  This toolbar typically appears at the top of the view.

    2. If a flyout menu appears, select "Top View" and you are finished.  If nothing appears, release the Rotate View button and proceed to Step 3.

    3. On the Rotate View settings box that appears, select "Unrotated" for the Method.

    Method 2

    1. Open the Key-in dialog (press Enter or select Utilities > Key-in).

    2. Enter view top;point absolute

    3. Press Enter.
