UBC3D Liquefaction Model
Nuri Taştekin
Dear sir/madam, I have a question about UBC3D model for my dynamic analysis model: Does the "G" parameter (Elastic shear modulus, which is calculated by the kGe shear modulus factor) equal to G0=(Vs^2*(Unit weight/g))? If so, isn't this model…

UBC3D Model in Dynamic Analysis with Liquefaction Check
Nuri Taştekin
Dear sir/madam, I'm working on a dynamic analysis of a multilayered soil profile improved with stone columns & piles. I have some questions regarding the parameters: While using the UBC3D model for liquefaction, we know that it overestimates the shear…

Regarding liquefied points observed in static stage using PM4silt and PM4sand models
Manisha
I am currently working on a liquefaction analysis using the PM4Silt and PM4Sand models for a layered soil model in PLAXIS 2D. However, I have encountered an issue where the liquefied points are observed in the static stage only before the dynamic analysis…

Dynamic analysis and liquefaction
Boris Kolev
Hi there, I am in the process of conducting a dynamic analysis to asses the stresses and strains in a secant wall during an earthquake event. The parkade is about 28m deep. The water table is close to the surface and the excavation wall consists of…

Plaxis 2D Dynamic Simulation on Liquefaction Stucked on Certain Step
Naufal Ermansyah
I just doing a simulation for liquefaction on gentle relief slope with the dynamic load is 50s which consist 0.01s each data. I use PM4Sand for the constitutive model applied on the sand layer also HS Small for the clay. Currently I set the Max steps…

PM4Sand model - manual setting of the parameter h0
Andrea Balia
Good morning, Is it possible to set manually the value of the parameter h0 for the PM4Sand model? The value is computed internally with equation 2.31 of the PM4Sand model manual. Thank you in advance, Andrea Balia

Problem in UBC3D-PLM model.
Rahul Dogra
For the same model Mohr-Coulomb, HS and Hs small model is giving positive pore water pressure but the UBC3D-PLM model is giving negative results of excess pore water pressure. Is there any problem in software or I am doing something wrong.

how to apply dynamic loading at the base of model
RAHUL DOGRA
I want to apply (input) a dynamic load of sinusoidal wave which is having a frequency of 20hz and amplitude of 5m/s2 at the base of model how can I apply that? Secondly, how can I use UBC3DPLM model for liquefaction and how can I get pre and post liquefaction…
