    In the foundation module, does RAM use the pile self weight to reduce tension forces in the pile? My thought is no, because there is no place to enter the pile length. Thanks, Brian

    In the foundation module, does RAM use the pile cap self weight to reduce tension forces in piles? I do not see a check box for it the way there is one to include self weight for spread footings. Thanks, Brian

    We have pile caps, but not single pier foundations in the program. You can use any single foundation (spread footing or pile cap) to obtain critical combined foundation loads for a hand check of the pile if that's any use. There is a long standing enhancement…
