Does RAM use the pile self weight to reduce tension forces in the pile?
Brian S
In the foundation module, does RAM use the pile self weight to reduce tension forces in the pile? My thought is no, because there is no place to enter the pile length. Thanks, Brian

Does RAM use the pile cap self weight to reduce tension forces in piles?
Brian S
In the foundation module, does RAM use the pile cap self weight to reduce tension forces in piles? I do not see a check box for it the way there is one to include self weight for spread footings. Thanks, Brian

RE: Self Weight

Assuming the question is related to STAAD.Pro, you can assign selfweight command to different entities with different selfweight factors ... SELFWEIGHT Y -1.1 LIST 25 TO 32 SELFWEIGHT Y -1.2 LIST 33 TO 40
