    Hi everyone,

    I am trying to import a tif file to an ORD file. But the program categorically refuses to do so?

    I tried with files that have defined and undefined coordinates, 2D and 3D but nothing seems to work.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

      hello,

      I would submit to support so that they can have a look if there is a bug or limitation regarding the size of the tif, or an issue with th etif itself.

      I just tested with an old tif 3 millions points and it did work perfectly in few seconds.

      Thats right - because the source Genio strings have discontinuities in them, the original data can't be used as is to partially triangulate. Although a bit messier you could still export to DWG, reference it in and use Graphical filters to filter by Level...

      Remeshing did not change anything.  The beam is 24" vs 18" slab. The model doesn't appear to be far from the global origin.

      It appears that the error is associated with meshing issues that are associated with alignment issues with the outside edge of the beam and the column shape. I can bypass the error by decreasing the mesh size to 2 ft, which is what I recommend as a work...
