I do, but I turn them off to test and doesn't make any appreciable difference.
Also a bit of a cop out from Bentley to say close this/close that, or have you reset prefs. Just make the dialogs work without lag.

Well, it definitely makes a difference if you have the properties window open when selecting a few hundred elements to e.g. move them. I don't know if that has any effect in your case, though.

For some reason i am able to assign Tension only and Truss Specification to the same members without any error. I am using STAAD 2023 and i have had no warning while doing the analysis.
