How can I change the factor of safety parameter in joint capacity in API?
Hi,
In API RP 2A-WSD 21st ed., when 1/3 increase is applicable, the FS for simples joints check (cl. 4.3) changes to 1.2. But by default is 1.6 as it says here D1.J.2.6 Simple Joints: Capacity Checks.
Is there a way to change it?
