PowerCivil Point cloud import failed
When I try "Create Terrain From Point Cloud" the process fails. See attached image. The oroginal file is .pts and I imported it in Descartes and got a .pod file that I am now working with. What could be my problem?
RE: Point Clouds for a newbie
You can use Descartes "Smart Snap" to select the highest point along the top of rail to trace the rails or the 3D line follow tool if you have intensities to your point cloud. This will give you a rough horizontal alignment.
