PoinTools and newer versions of DWG files.
I am new to Bentley, and the tools.
I am trying to load my first pointcloud into Pointools and get this error:
What process is to be used?
Why is the newer version not compatible?
What is the correct process for getting "Support" in a situation…
Pointools V8i - Random errors when editing clouds
We are evaluating Bentley Pointools V8i, Version 02.00.02.02, build 2.0130201
Workstation is an HP Pavillion HPE running an i7-2600 CPU @3.40 GHz/3.40 GHz, with 16GB RAM and an AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series Graphic Card.
Dataset is a 3.2 GB pointcloud…

I am getting The following error on export:
No Points in import stream (Error -103)
I have also tried exporting as Selected Points, and using the clip box, to no avail.
Please advise.

Hi ,
i am trying to drape linear elements onto ground classified point cloud. for some reason it is not working.
an error pops up saying "element not valid for tool"
Any help greatly appreciated
