OK This will work and the only thing the user needs to complete is to place the geospatial data set into the example foldera and simply create a "geospatial" under the "project" interface. If anyone else needs help please let me know.

I find the best way to label the contours is to use the settings is the "Load DTM features" dialog box.
Here you can specify the text font, size, colour, level, decimal places and most importantly, the distance between labels.
