• Default settings for drawing boundary and visible edge

    I would like to set my Drawing Boundary in the reference dialog box to always default to NONE and by Visible Edges default to DYNAMIC. Right now they set to NEW and CACHE by default. I would like to change those defaults to NONE and DYNAMIC. Thanks…

    Personally, I might be more concerned about the "Save Settings on Exit" being selected than the "Auto-save Design Changes" If the file ownership, and ownership of modifications, is an issue I would look into enabling Design History.

    If I remember correct, even with MS_DGNAUTOSAVE=0 the file is taken ownership. so normally the date of the file is updated. That is what the AutoCAD users do not want. They want to get out of the file unchanged, Content and date. But MicroStation…
