    In the bolt shear design check for slip critical bolts using 1 1/4" A325 SC (Class A), the minimum bolt pretension is taken as 81 kips when it should read 71 kips as per AISC table J3.1. Model along with snap shots attached. SC bolts defect.zip

    In Single plate connection to HSS, while checking punching shear on the HSS column support, RAM takes the lp (length of connection) as the width of the shear plate instead of the length. Please advise. Snapshots are attached for easy reference.
