What takes precedence for people gains - is it the Standard room input data, or the definition of activity types? VS. The activity types are referenced below are from this thread: https://communities.bentley.com/products/building/performance/w/building_performance__wiki…

I have turned off infiltration, ventilation, occupants and casual gains from my model to test the solar load portion only. However I still see loads attributed with "Convective" and "Latent" (albeit small). Should these loads exist in my calculation…

I understand that you get different heat gains in the following scenarios: Within CIBSE gain tool allow temperature to rise by 1degC Within room data increase summer design temp by 1degC There is a calculation procedure for the first scenario…

I modelled a simple 5mx5m glass box with no heat transfer across the floor or ceiling and I created a custom glass to replicate a Pilkington glass (U-Value of 0.6 and g-factor of 0.55). When I checked the solar gains using CIBSE Gains they were 10.8kW…

Matthew, you have probably turned on Temperature Rise in the Design Data tab. When you use Temperature Rise the individual loads are combined in the underlying equations and cannot be accurately split out afterwards.
