You can also use _USTN_ECAPPL, at least for building apps since each one defines a different value. Or any of the "DIR" variables such as ATFDIR, BBESDIR, HVACDIR or STFDIR.
Lots of ways to skin a cat! Though I think setting variables may be preferable…
