PlantSight Administration has been renamed to Configuration, and the Configuration page has been refined into a more intuitive and organized format:

• General lnformation section where you can edit Facility/Project details such as Name, Number, Description, and Location, and more,

• Configuration section where you can manage features such as Users & roles, Briefcase Management, Quick link management, iModel manager,…

The Bentley Portal Alignment Initiative has created a streamlined user interface for PlantSight, which allows for improved integration with our iTwin Enabled applications.

You can now select your schema from a list, as well as create copies of existing queries by clicking Save As on the Query Builder dialog.

You can now edit multiple process functional tag properties for standard mode and advanced mode queries. Just open a query in Query Browser, and then click Edit (  ). The Bulk Edit Properties page appears, and then you can make any changes as needed. For example,

The following role-based access control (RBAC) is now available for Queries: Create New Query, Read Shared Query, Delete Shared Query, Rename Shared Query, Export Queries/Folder, Promote to Shared Query, and Set Advanced Mode. These options are located in Data Manager Administration.

The Document Browser now includes the Tag Delete icon (  ) for documents. This feature allows you to delete a single document, and also view its tag information prior to deleting it.

The Piping Network Segment node in the Tag Browser iModel tree can now be made visible, by enabling the Display Piping Network Segment in PlantSight Administration.

Note: This feature requires Administrative user account privileges.

You can manage all project iModels, by selecting Administration (  ), and then selecting iModel Manager.
From here, you can:

• Create a New iModel for the active project
• Edit the iModel properties
• Manage role(s)
• Manage connections
• View named versions

PlantSight now makes it easier to view grids in the Tag Browser, by allowing you to freeze columns so that they always remain visible when scrolling. Simply select which the column(s) to freeze or unfreeze by toggling the Freeze/Unfreeze icons (   /   ), using the Column Options for Grid (  ) feature. For more information, see "Freezing Columns", in PlantSight Help.

You now have the ability to release reserved tags on a PlantSight project. The Clean Tag Register utility is accessible from Administration (  ) > Data manager, > Clean tag register. The My Work widget replaces the Notifications widget. This widget displays the forms that have been assigned to you. Each item includes information about the form itself, who issued it, and color-coded due date to help identify new, pending, and overdue forms. 
Selecting a form opens the form in the Forms dashboard so that you can review, edit, and even close the form.

Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) restricts network access based on a person's role within a project. We can define Roles such as Create Tag, Edit Tag, Delete Tags and can restrict users as needed.

Incase user tries to perform Edit/Delete operation, proper warning message will be displayed in Data Manager:

Users can process data from Data Manager grid to populate Excel worksheets. Excel Templates will be used with defined tokens to replace with Tagged Instance data

You can now launch Bentley Forms Designer directly from a Project. This streamlines creating forms such as daily logs, clash detections, safety lists, and basically any form that can assist you and your Team.

Simply click the Forms icon on the Navigation pane to launch Bentley Forms Designer.

You can now create and manage Quick Links from any Facilities or Project page. Just click the Bookmark icon on the Menu bar, and select Add/Manage quick links::

Administrators can now create and manage shared Quick Links that are visible for everyone on a project team.  This option is visible from the Add Quick Links dialog, as shown here:
