    An Attempt to Reset Your Password Has Failed

    Problem

    User is attempting to use the Forgot Password link at https://ims.bentley.com to reset their password but gets an error message 

    'Hello <user email address>,

    An attempt to reset your password has failed. If you have any questions or are having trouble resetting your password, please contact a site administrator for assistance.

    If you didn't make this request, please contact your administrator.

    Solution

    Contact your site administrator initially.  If they cannot help ask them to raise a Service Request at https://connect.bentley.com, using the New Service Request tile, then Login and Website Assistance tile, Problem Area: Login Issue
