How can I apply a chamfer to ProStructures elements? 

Steps to Accomplish

Below is the workflow to apply a chamfer to ProStructures elements.

1. Place a ProStructures element in the model - in this example we will use a Plate that has dimensions of 200mm X 400 mm.

 

2. From the Structural tab choose Modify Steel Members > Element Modification from the Cut Structural Elements tool group:

1. Select a Chamfer layout, e.g., Straight, Convex, or Concave Chamfer.
2. Assign a Radius or Edge length.
3. Assign the Chamfer position to be applied on the Plate.
