Problem

Is there a setting I can add to the workspace so when a reference is attached the 'Global Linestyle Scale = Reference'?

Solution

1. Go to File/Settings/Configuration/Configuration Variables

2. Go under Reference Category>Default Attachment Settings
3. Set MS_REF_DEFAULTSETTINGS to include globalLSScale=Reference

4. Select OK and then Yes to save

This sets the default setting for reference global linestyle scale factor to reference.

The same can be done in the reference settings box using active file (master) master*reference (both) or neither (none).
