    Problem

    How to turn a level off with the Off By Element method in V8 versions of MicroStation?

    Solution

    1. Open the Level Display dialog
    2. Right click over a Level and choose Off By Element. Then identify the element you wish to hide in the view with a left-click.
    3. Alternatively, use key-in levelmanager level offbyelem and then select an element in the view where you require this level turned off
