Problem
The commands listed in the V8i Task dialog are no longer visible.
Solution
Verify whether the path specified by the variable MS_GUIDGNLIBLIST points to the dgnlib file (V8iTasks.dgnlib).
The default path for V8iTasks.dgnlib is:
C:\Program Files\Bentley\MicroStation 2023\MicroStation\Default\GUI\Archive\en
If the MS_GUIDGNLIBLIST variable has been properly set, it might be worth trying to Reset the User Prefs directory.
Resetting MicroStation's preference data will reset the customized tools/menu layout as well as the user preferences set in several menus (DWG save options, Personal Preferences menu, etc.) to factory default settings.
Remember to create a backup of your Pref folder in case this process does not solve the issue.
