Problem:
How to resolve "Timeout Exceeded (3600 s)" error in AutoPIPE vessel?
Why does this happen and how to avoid?
Solution:
Scenario #1:
When user wants to perform the calculation, it is very important to feed all the required information before performing the calculation.
If user missed to provide any mandatory data to complete the calculation then software may give timeout exceeded error.
To avoid such errors follow In Bracket support:
Enter the value of F in the bracket
Then your model will complete the analysis within the time.
Scenario #2:
Due to the wind pressure (example. 35.28 daN/m²), it is not possible to design an anchor that meets the scope of the design method (AD) selected for anchorage checking and program enters an infinite loop. A bug (1412231) was logged and will be fixed in a future version of AutoPIPE Vessel.
Work around, change the anchor design method (e.g. "Thompson") or reduce the wind pressure.
