03-o: SQLite Database (DB)


Comments, Questions, and Answers about exporting database files from AutoPIPE:

1. Why AutoPIPE will not export a DB file for review?

If the application does not create a DB file or only partial information is available in the DB file then follow these steps. At the end of each step try to export a DB file to see if the problem has been resolved.

Step #1:

Open the model, confirm analysis set settings are correct, analyze the model, select Input Listing (Result > Quick Reports > Input Listing), confirm that Limit results to Highlighted points option is NOT enabled (checked OFF) and move all of the sub reports from the Left column to the Right Column:

Step #2:

Open the model, confirm analysis set settings are correct, analyze the model, select Output Report (Result > Quick Reports > Output Report),

a. Confirm that Limit results to Highlighted points option is disabled (checked OFF)

b. Model Listing is enabled (checked ON)

c. Apply Filter is disabled (checked OFF)

d. Move all of the sub reports from the Left column to the Right Column:

Step #3:

If you have reached this point and the SQLite Database (DB) has not been fully created, then one may start to suspect a corrupted file. Follow steps here to round trip the model and then repeat steps 1-2 above. IMPORTANT, follow the round trip procedure exactly.

Step #4:

If you have reached this point and the SQLite Database (DB) has not been fully created with a round tripped file, then submit a new Bentley case, mention this WIKI, and send your 

AutoPIPE APC file for review.
