Modeling flanges as one point does it affect the flange leakage calculation?
Solution:
Answer is No, There will be no impact on flange design and flange rigidity check even if we model flange as single point.
While performing flange check we provide all the dimensional and material properties of flange, bolt, gasket to the flange in flange check module.
