Background

The settings of Part ID depend on the set-up of item code in schema files. Moreover, some components in Bill of Materials are not combining even they are completely the same with one description. For instance, weld neck flanges showing in the same item number but separated. In addition, the description is the same and quantity is not giving the total number.

Steps to Resolve

1. Generate isometrics and proceed to isometrics configuration.
2. Add the value IE_TYPE=CT_FLANGE in Spool Settings.
   
3. Save the changes.
4. Regenerate isometrics to verify the result. All weld neck flanges are associated in item number 2 and total quantity has been combined.
