Overview

This document shares a way to add Weld Value Mapping for WAFER_LUG_JOINT that is missing in OOTB Schema.

Problem Description

In OOTB Schema it has been observed that by default Schema has WAFER_TYPE_JOINT in the Schema but it doesn’t have a Weld  Value Mapping done for it.

1. In Schema editor open OpenPlant3D schema and supplement Open PlantSupplementalModeling.
2. Search for Joint and check End Preparation for WAFER_LUG_JOINT it will be Wafer_Lug_End
   
3. Now search for Weld Value Map , note that Weld map is not defined for WAFER_LUG_JOINT.
   

Steps to Resolve

1. Launch Bentley Class Editor, open OpenPlant_3D.01.08.ecschema.xml and supplement OpenPlant_3D_Supplemental_Modeling.01.08.ecschema.xml
   
   
2. The mapping for WAFER_LUG_JOINT can be created by copying any existing weld mapping and rename it with WAFER_LUG_END as shown below.
