This wiki explains how to restore a linkage between 2D Drawing and the model when switched to another system so that we can update the 2D drawings in the same model.
Please follow the below steps to achieve this.
1. After insertion of 2D drawing, go to the 2D block cells location and copy them. The default location is as below
PATH: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\ProStructures CONNECT Edition\Configuration\WorkSpaces\<WrokSpaceName>\WorkSets\<WorkSetName>\Out\Details\<DGNName>
2. Now, place these cells at the same location in another machine to have the same linkage.
3. Open the DetailCenter and reload it.
4. Open the 2D drawing from the DetailCenter > Parts tab > Right-click > Open 2D drawing. It should open the model where you have inserted the drawing.
In this way, we can restore a linkage between 2D Drawing and the model when switched to another system so that we can update the 2D drawings in the same model.
